In italiano abbiamo 4 modi per esprimerlo, quindi frasi come queste:
1. Credo che tu SIA stanco (congiuntivo presente)
2. credo che SIA ANDATO a lavoro(congiuntivo passato)
3. Se FOSSI in te non farei questa cosa (congiuntivo imperefetto)- anche se questa frase penso si formi in inglese con il periodo ipotetico?!
4. Se tu FOSSI ANDATO a scuola, l'avresti incontrata - qui credo valga lo stesso discorso della terza frase, periodo ipotetico

perche nella prima si usa il present conditional e nella seconda il present conditional continuos, cioè io non vedo differenza tra lora, ma anzi per me sono uguali

Salve a tutti! Mi servirebbe un chiarimento sulla struttura di una frase inglese. Solitamente mentre parlo mi viene molto più spontaneo dire "They try to make our life shorter". E' corretto separare il verbo dall'aggettivo? Oppure è corretta questa forma "they try to make shorter our life?" Grazie in anticipo!

Ho ripreso a studiare inglese da poco, e oggi mi sono capitate queste sue frasi:
I will go to bed at 10 o’clock
e mi chiedevo, essendo un’azione programmata non sarebbe più giusto mettere il verbo al present continuos o al future continuos? Con questi due tempi verbali il significato della frase cambia o non vanno semplicemente usati?
la seconda frase la dovevo tradurre io, ed è: tra un mese festeggeremo il nostro venticinquesimo anniversario di matrimoni, ma non so come tradurla in ...

Premetto di aver capito la differenza tra questi due tempi verbali, ma non capisco come mai in queste due frasi, in una viene usato il past perfect simple, e nell'altra il past perfect continuos, perchè mi sembrano identiche :box

Ad esempio nella frase 'He was hunted by his old creditors that pushed him into a lot of adventures' il THAT è corretto? Sarebbe meglio usare who dato che si tratta di persone? Il dubbio è venuto dato che ricordavo who si potesse usare solo con le persone singolari ad esempio 'who is that girl at the train station? Ringrazio in anticipo chi chiarirà il mio dubbio!
