I have a question for translating a word in Italian.
Which is the correct translation of “The magnitude of gradient”?

I bet this comes from some physics book. I would have said "modulo del gradiente" or "magnitudine del gradiente". All the other words listed here are correct. Every one of them has a different flavour: "norma", for example, makes me think at infinite-dimensional spaces.
