Stavo cercando di dare uno sguardo per vedere di provare a dare una lettura a "Principles Of Mathematichal Analysis" di W. Rudin, quando, essendo io uno che l'inglese se lo mangia a colazione, pranzo e cena, sono incappato in un "i.e." tra parentesi, più precisamente:

quell'i.e. che significa?

Camillo, I've always wondered what "e.g." could mean (I knew that it's like "for example" but I didn't know the meaning of the single letters), and now you have enlightened me. Thank you.

I know Latin but not very well.

I've studied it during the first two years of Secondary School, but during the last three not.

Another Latin sentence used in math is "e.g." = exempli gratia = for example = per esempio .

So Cozza's theorem is proved .
