Robinson travel for job, he goes to sea to make his fortune but also he has a young ribellion and he set up because he look for adventure. Gulliver travel because he hadn't money.
Robinson had a spiritual travel where he follow bible to find comfort and guidance. In this spiritual travel Robinson challenged his ability. In Gulliver the European man is see as the victim of civilization.
Robinson is a realistic novel while Gulliver is a satirical novel who want to speak about the corruption of new world.
In Robinson religion is very important, instead in Gulliver is stress the opposition between rationality and animality.
Daniel Defoe was a Whig, Swift was a Tory.
The society which Robinson created on the island is not an alternative to the English one, Gulliver discovered some happy society where men lived a simple life so a life different by English.
