Venice
The city of Venice was the capital of the Republic of Venice . The Venetian lagoon is formed in 800 B.C. and was a rich hunting and fishing area. The inhabitants of the mainland sought refuge in the lagoons as a result of the various waves of barbarian invasions that followed from the fifth century, especially that of the Huns and Lombards. Today, Venice is considered among the maritime republics along with Genoa, Pisa and Amalfi; It is also famous for the high water, or tidal surges that flood the city especially in the fall and winter.

Florence
The first settlement of Florence was a village on stilts created in the eleventh century BC from Villanova civilization populations. In 150 BC It was inhabited by the Etruscans , later by Romans , Byzantines, Goths, Lombards and Franks before being inhabited by the Medici, family who followed the teachings of the Dominican Girolamo Savonarola. Florence is known as the cradle of the Renaissance because it was at that time that it developed more in the artistic, literary and cultural.

Rome
Founded according to tradition by Romulus on 21 April 753 B , Rome was ruled for 244 years by a monarchical system, with the rulers of Latin origin, Sabine and Etruscan. The tradition handed down seven kings: Romulus, Numa Pompilius, Tullus Hostilius, Ancus Marcius, Tarquinius Priscus, Servio Tullio and Tarquinius Superbus. Expelled from the city the last Etruscan king and established an oligarchic republic in 509 BC, Rome began a period marked by internal struggles between patricians and plebeians and continuous wars against the Italic peoples. After World War II, Rome became the capital of Italy and not only that, even the cinema, fashion, culture and sport.
