E allora risponderei "no" alla tua domanda per una serie di motivi:


se $X$ e $Y$ sono sottospazi di spazi differenti la tua applicazione $(\cdot | \cdot)$ dovrebbe essere una cosa del genere:

$(\cdot | \cdot ): \ X \times Y \to \mathbb{R}$ (assumendo come scalari il campo dei reali)

e in teoria non lo potresti neanche chiamare "prodotto scalare"
(un PS per definizione deve essere simmetrico, ma se $X$ e $Y$ sono contenuti in spazi vettoriali differenti mi pare impossibile - a meno che tu non stia sottintendendo un qualche isomorfismo tra gli spazi in questione).


Inoltre se $L$ è a valori vettoriali significa che $L(\bar x)$ è un vettore, e $\bar x L(\bar x)$ un prodotto vettoriale, e ammesso che quello sia un prodotto scalare, non godrebbe in generale di tale proprietà.
