What to expect in Introduction to Mathematical Analysis?

I'm a chemical engineering major, finishing up multivariable calc, and I've decided I want to add mathematics as a second major. One of my ChemE professors who also majored in ChemE and math told me to wait till I've done Intro to Math Analysis before I declare the second major. It seems that this is the "weed out" class, similar to organic chemistry for potential chem majors (which really isn't hard at all...). My understanding of the course is that it's all about methods used in writing proofs. Is this all I should expect? Just lots and lots of proofs?
