:) :hi

As you can see the Logo is made of words and images of the Cindarella Castle which rises in the most famous park at Disneyworld. This castle is divided in different lines which allow its representation through the combination of geometrical shapes and simple elements. The castle is represented in a light blue color that brings about dreaming, while the lines that divide it, as well as the background, are of a darker blue which recalls the infinite and depth. The effect the lines (both horizontal and vertical) make takes on various meanings. For instance, the horizontal lines give an idea of stability and general safety; the vertical lines, represented by the towers of the castle, convey a feeling of a slender and lively thing. The thickness of the horizontal lines (which slowly diminishes) suggests power, vigor and vivacity. The castle chosen is really existing in Florida, and the fact that you can actually see the image of something that really exists, and thus not just an imagined shape, contributes to the idea of steadiness and security that the company wants to transmit. Besides, the castle was chosen as the symbol because it is always linked to fairytales, imagination, enchanted worlds and, moreover, it is a wide enough place that you want to visit and discover. The semicircle behind the castle recalls the idea of the rainbow, symbol of the elementary colors which is connected to the sun and thus to a fair day. Therefore, the rainbow brings about a cheerful and somewhat magical atmosphere. The semicircle takes on another important role. It represents the separation between the real world and the fantastic world that Disney is creating. It is an entrance, it doesn’t want to deceive or convince people that the world it’s introducing really exists. On the contrary, the intent is that of inviting people to abandon the real world, for a certain amount of time, and to enter this parallel universe. And this idea of “entering” into a new world is highlighted by the semicircle, that can be viewed as an archway, and by the opened door of the castle, one more invitation to join the magic of Disney.
