La traduzione viene più o meno così:
During this Christmas' holiday I did nothing special, I just spent all my time at home with my family. At Christmas Day my family and I had dinner with my grandparents. I spent New Year's Eve at the house of a friend of mine, with other friends; we had great fun.
I didn't do much during my holiday because I had two volleyball competitions between the third and the fifth of January, just in the middle of the holiday. During the holiday it was even my birthday (the second of January), but I did nothing special, I just spent the time at home with some of my friends.
In the end, I had a beautiful holiday.
Considera che restando fedele al testo che hai scritto in italiano era impossibile farlo al present simple; se lo hai bisogno a quel tempo li, basta cambiare il tempo del verbo ;)

durante queste vacanze di natale, non ha fatto molte cose, difatti praticamente tutto il tempo l'ho passato a casa mia con la mia famiglia.
il natale però, sono andato con la mia famiglia a fare il cenone dai miei nonni paterni.
il capodanno, l'ho passato a casa di un mio amico, li c'erano anche un paio di amici suoi e del suo parentame, ci siamo divertiti molto.
un motivo per cui non ho molte cose durante le vacanze è il fatto che il tre ed il cinque gennaio, quindi nel mezzo delle vacanze, avevo due tornei di pallavolo.
Durante le vacanze è caduto anche il mio compleanno, il due gennaio, non ho fatto le cose in grande, l'ho passato con alcuni miei amici a casa mia.
Resta il fatto che ho passato delle vacanze bellissime.
