To be "under weather" is a popular saying in English which simply implies the changing of the human emotions following the weather conditions. Recently scientists say that results have shown this statement is true. According to scientists one third of the worlds population are sensitive to the weather. Cold, rainy, windy weather or winter have negative effect on our emotions and make us feel depressed. At the other hand sunny weather can make people feel cheerful, calm and literally filled with joy. But the same time very hot weather can make some people feel irritated, harsh, hostile, angry, frustrated and tired in most cases.
It is difficult to demonstrate this research due to the fact that most people living in industrialised countries spend most of their time (almost 93%) indoors. Doctors recommend patients and citizens in general to spend at least 30 minutes outdoors in order to feel the positive effects of the weather because the body appreciates warm weather and fresh air. Spending most of our time indoors may feel irritating and boring.

Ciao.
