british high streets have changed a lot in the last 10 years: for example there are a lot of stores, such as "gap" or "next", even if,traditional markets, still survive and, according to american style, most supermarkets are outside town and they're qualified stores, where you can buy all that you need ( british people usually pay by credit or debit cards). differently from italian shops,british shops are opened from 9.00am to 5.00 pm (without break for lunch),but also in britain, there is the custom of shopping on the internet.
