- why do some people feel afraid of new technology, such as computers?

IMHO the world is split in two great sets, traditionalists and revolutionalists. First one don't like mutation in their lives and prefer all things that make better living but not too much... they don't like computers, they dislike the idea of changing their routine. Second one like innovation, new technology and even radical changes of their living just for the feeling that the mutation is the right way for finding happiness.

- How can computers help people?

Many ways are the ways of helping. Computer make our life easy, doing some works that we don't like to do...

- Do computers have any disadvantages??

Nothing is immune to disadvantages!

- Do computers make people lazy??

Only men make the men lazy! If you like computer is your choice to play or work with that all the time...

-What do you think will be the next great development in technology?

IMHO the next generation is centered in Artificial Intelligence... I see a new electronic brain with a new kind of logic... but is only a dream
