la consegna: immagina che ieri, durante un temporale, eri all'aperto. scrivi una lettera al tuo amico joe in cui descrivi l'esperienza, aiutati con le tracce:
- di' dove ti trovavi e con chi eri
- descrivi che cosa stavi facendo prima del temporale
- racconta che cosa hai fatto quando è iniziato il temporale
- di' che cosa hai visto e sentito
- descrivi come ti sentivi (worried? excited?...)

Dear Joe,
you'll never guess what happened yesterday! I was in the countryside with Tom, a friend of mine. Since it was a sunny day, we had decided to have a pic-nic and to enjoy the wonderful weather of this spring.
So, we left the city in the early morning by bus and we reached a lovely village in the countryside. We found a wonderful place not far from a forest, all hidden by the trees, quiet and peaceful.
We put a cover on the grass and we started eating and talking and laughing.
We could not even imagine that our jolly pic-nic was about to turn into a disaster. We had just finished our lunch, that some black clouds started approaching and soon covered all the sky, that just five minutes before was blue. The black clouds became bigger and bigger and from afar we could hear thunders and see lightnings: a terrible storm was about to begin.
Tom and I picked up all our things and started running towards the village. But we had not yet come out form the forest, that a a pouring rain began to fall on us and on all the plants of the forest.
Tom and I decided to find a shelter under one huge tree of the forest, and there, under the shadow of its branches, we waited for the storm to be over. We were terribly worried, and scared to death, because we were all wet and we dindn't know what to do.
That storm was complety unexpected and we had not even an umbrella with us! The forest was dark and thunders and lightnings continued to cross the sky.
Finally, after just half an hour, the storm ended, just as quickly as it had begun. We were safe: now we just had to reach the village and find a place were we could get dry and then take a bus to get back to the city.
It was really a terrible experience! I hope i'll never find myself in such an awful situation again!
