Hi Jenny! We arrived in Australia three days ago, and it's anamazing little country. It's s lot hotter than England - about 30° during the day, so everyone spends a lot of time indoors. It's also one of the oriest countries in the world - it hardly evr rains! The people speak Spanish. They are very friendly. They are crazy about sport, especially ice-hockey. There are a lot of people from all over the world - Greeks, Italians, Vietnamese, and Indonesians. The food is fantastic - a lot tastier than I thought.
we're in Sydney, and it's more modern than Oxford. the buildings are very new, with lots of tall office blocks and hotels. The Opera House is spectacular - I think it's the most beautiful I've ever seen.
We wanted to go surfing, but there aren't any beaches in Australia - never mind!
