What about the case just happened at Societè Generale in France ? What do you think Cheguevilla ? It seems they have a loss around $5.5 $ billion euro ( yes billion ) .How can it be possible in a large bank a thing like this and responsibility of one person only? I don't believe ....

Cheguevilla
I can see that just some important companies are inserted in this study.
Anyway, I can't understand whether the participation to this process is mandatory or not.
I personally don't care that much about top manager's earnings, even though this may be an index of company's policy and wealth status.
We just have to consider that US market and companies' books are more and more transparent than how we are used to see here in Italy. This could be a fair target that our government should settle.
For example, the punishment for false declarations on accounting books are really strong in US, while here in Italy they're quite ridicuolus.
I believe that this transparency will help our market, making easier the get money for the companies and to get a good investments for the families.
This faster money access could be a further help for our slow economy compared to other countries.
I strongly believe that cases like Parmalat happened and can happen again in Italy because the right punishment is missing: due to the very low transparency that makes difficult to investigate, but also due to the softest italian law in this sense.
Indeed, cases like Enron no longer repeated in US.
