Well, I think that the correct form is: "what were you waiting for? " moreover "I think Armando wanted to say.." sounds strange, maybe "I think Armando meant.." is better, but this is my opinion

It's good to have perfectionists in here, we are all here to learn how to write in good English. For instance, I think Armando wanted to say "Che cosa stavi aspettando?" in English, but his translation is wrong. What is the correct form for that?
