E-folding time

Hi!
I'm writing my thesis (in italian), and I should write down some parameters I used in my work.
One of them is the e-folding time, that is the time after which a quantity is reduce to 1/e his initial value.
Maybe I'll end simply writing "e-folding time", whithout translating it, but i'd like to know if someone has a suggestion.
