what is the theme of the story?
The story tell about a quarrel between a wife and an hausband. The hausband want to leave the wife but he want his baby.There is a problem: also the wife want the baby! So they started to contend for him.
what adjectives would you use to define the setting?
Wintry, troubled, restless ..e non mi viene in mente altro
what tragic event is caused by the struggle?
the hausband crowded the wife into the wall and held the baby!
how the parents react?
She felt her finger being forced open. She cought the baby around the wrist and he felt the baby slipping out of his hands.

questa è soggettiva, ognuno può inventarsi il finale che vuole, secondo me tira e molla il bambino cade nella stufa.
" I think about a tragic end, I think that in the end the baby fall into the stove and he die."
