Benevento è una città piena di storia, le prime testimonianze della città risalgono alle guerre sannitiche e nel 268 a.c i Romani vi stabilirono una colonia della cui grandezza sono testimoni numerosi monumenti.

L'arco di traiano ( voluto dall'imperatore Traiano all'inizio della strada che collegava Roma a Brindisi è uno degli esempi meglio conservati d'Italia)
Il teatro romano (Eretto al tempo di Adriano ed ampliato da Caracalla oggi conserva solo la cavea
Il museo del sannio ( Istituito nel 1928 conserva il patrimonio archeologo della civiltà beneventana.
Infine qui potrete assaggiare i prodotti tipici esempio il copeta(torrone) , il liquore strega e il cardone .
