Devo commentare in inglese una frase che tradotta è 'gli insegnanti che amano insegnare insegnano i ragazzi ad amare a imparare'.E' corretta la frase :During my school years I had a lot of great teachers that they have been able to make me appreciate subjects that I always hated but there were also teachers that they contributed to reduce my love of discovering and learning and honestly I don't miss them.E va bene anche 'I think it's very sad forgetting who taught you for a lot of years because it's like teachers didn't leave marks of theirselves and they didn't give you any messages.'

1) Al posto di that si usa who, poiché ti stai riferendo a persone (in questo caso ai professori) e non a cose/oggetti. Hai commesso lo stesso errore qua: "but there were also teachers that(who) they contributed.."
2) Stessa frase: il pronome personale they non va usato perché sarebbe una ripetizione di "teachers". Guarda come verrebbe in italiano:
...ho avuto tanti bravi insegnanti che loro sono stati capaci di ecc
suona male, perciò va eliminato :)
Lo stesso errore lo hai ripetuto più avanti. (Qua: "..but there were also teachers that they contributed.."
Inoltre metterei punto e virgola qua: "appreciate subjects that I always hated;", in quanto una frase come la tua, senza virgole, punti, doppi punti ecc, si appesantisce, quindi sospendi con una piccola pausa la frase e poi riprendi.
3)L'uso del verbo al gerundio (forgetting) è errato. E' invece corretto l'infinitive, ossia to forget.
4)Credo tu abbia dimenticato un "if" qua: "because it's like (if) teachers didn't leave..."
5)Leva il "they" nell'ultima frase.
6)Secondo me, visto che stai esprimendo un'opinione su qualcosa che è successo a te, più che "didn't not give you", userei "didn't not give us". Anche perché all'inizio parli in prima persona.
