Once upon a time there was a rich man,who was a widower, with his little daughter. He wanted to give his daughter a mom, so he remarried a wealthy widow with two daughters who lived nearby. Shortly after the marriage he became seriously ill and died. Then his widow revealed her true appearance: she put her stepdaughter to do the most humble jobs and greatly favored her two daughters.

A few years passed: the stepdaughter had been nicknamed by everyone Cinderella, because she was always dirty and in the kitchen.

The king decided to give a dance to find a suitable wife for his son, the crown prince, who could not fall in love with any girl.

Cinderella's two half-sisters wanted at all costs to participate in the ball; Cinderella would have liked it too, but she had nothing to wear.

One evening, in his room, he found a beautiful evening dress made by his mouse friends. He could join the dance! But the stepsisters, Genoveffa and Anastasia, when they saw her so beautiful, destroyed her dress out of envy.

Cinderella, sobbing, stayed home alone.

She was in the garden when a strange little woman appeared, who said she was his godmother, the fairy Smemorina. The fairy took a pumpkin and transformed it into a carriage, four mice and transformed them into goergeus horses; he took old horse and transformed him into the coachman, while the house dog was transformed into a footman. Then she transformed Cinderella's tattered clothes into a beautiful dress and two marvelous crystal slippers appeared at her feet. At that point it was recommended that Cinderella return home by midnight, because the magic was only effective until then.

Cinderella went to the ball and attracted the attention of the prince, who danced with her all evening. At the touch of midnight he ran away. She got home in time to see everything vanish around her except a crystal slipper that had slipped off her foot as she ran.

Grand Duke Monocolao was charged with finding the girl whose foot fit perfectly into the precious shoe. The Grand Duke tried the slipper on all the princesses, all the ladies of the kingdom, but to no avail, until he reached Cinderella's house.

The two half-sisters wanted to try on the shoe, but to no avail. The Grand Duke asked: " Is there any other girl in the house? ""Yes, our servant ". " She must try it too, it's an order from the king"

The slipper fitted Cinderella perfectly, who was able to go to court and marry her prince.
