per le frasi da negative ad affermative devi usare il tempo passato del verbo ( in genere aggiungi -ed all'infinito oppure per i verbi irregolari il tempo passato);

per le affermative in negative devi usare l'ausiliare did o meglio didn't

per cui:
Mira bought new clothes yesterday si trsforma in
Mira didn't buy new clothes yesterday

John didn't take out the rabbish si trasforma in
John took out the rabbish
