People have spoken about the existence of aliens for thousands of years. In China some drawings of spaceships have been found ,which are fifty thousand years old. Spaceships are also called flying saucers.The first person to use this name was an American,Kenneth Arnold.On 24th June 1947 he was flying on a small plane in the USA,in Washington State,when he suddenly saw something strange.He was looking out of the window when nine saucer-like things appeaered in front of him. Two other Americans,Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker,say that they have been kidnapped by people from outer space and taken inside a UFO. On 11th October 1973, on a dark night,they were fishing on the Pascagoula River,as they used to do at that time,when they saw a bright light which was floating in th air, over their heads. It looked like a flying saucer! While they were staring three men came out of the flying object and carried Hickson and Parker into their spaceship. The aliens examined the two poor fishermen, then they took them back to their boat. Hickson and Parker said that the aliens had grey skin and narrow eyes. They were strange and frightening,but they didn't harm them. In 1983 a spaceship called Pioneer 10 was sent into space by the Americans. On the outside they put pictures of men and women,together with a space map. If aliens find Pioneer 10,they will know how to get to Earth.
