È iniziata la scuola, per me è stato un giorno molto importante perché ho cominciato un nuovo ciclo di studi. Dentro me erano presenti diverse emozioni: da un lato non vedevo l'ora di iniziare, dall'altro sentivo molta ansia per le diverse novità che mi aspettavano.
La mattina mi sono svegliato presto, ero talmente agitato che non sono riuscito a fare la colazione. Appena ero arrivato a scuola fortunatamente la tensione che avevo dentro era diminuita anche perché avevo incontrato alcuni miei compagni che conoscevo. La preside aveva letto i nomi degli alunni delle varie classi e dopo invitò le varie professoresse a condurci in classe. In aula l'insegnante ci aveva chiesto di presentarci e parlare un po' di noi. Avevo avuto modo di socializzare con i nuovi compagni che mi sembravano simpatici. Finita la giornata ero molto felice ma anche in ansia per i tre anni faticosi che mi aspettavano.

In the morning I got up early, and after I went to school. When I just arrived the tension decreased because I met some friends. The headmistress read the students’ name and allocated them in the different classroom. The professors asked us some thinks. I socialized with new friends. At the end of school day I was happy but also worried for the years that wait for us.

Ciao, Alex! Ti aiuto con la tua traduzione. A differenza di quella che avevi fatto tu -che comunque non era male- mi sono attenuta più fedelmente a quello che avevi scritto in italiano, se sei d'accordo, perchè ho notato che in alcuni punti la traduzione era più "libera". Inoltre ti ho corretto qualche erroretto che era presente qua e là.
Se qualcosa non andasse bene fammelo pure sapere! In ogni caso la traduzione fedele e corretta del testo in italiano e la seguente:
Secondary school has begun. The first day was very important to me because I started a new cycle of studies.
Inside of me there were different emotions: on one hand I couldn't wait to get started (oppure, meno usato: I was looking forward to starting), and on the other one I was worried about the new things that were expecting me.
That morning I got up early, and I was so excited that I couldn't have breakfast. As soon as I arrived at school, the tension I felt inside decreased (oppure "dropped", forse un po' più appropriato, ma anche decreased è corretto) because I had met some school-mates of mine.
The headmistress read the names of the students belonging to every class, and then invited the teachers to take us to our classrooms.
In the classrooms the teacher ("professor" sono solo quelli universitari) asked us to introduce ourselves and talk a bit about us.
I had the possibility to make new friends with my schoolmates, that looked very nice. At the end of my school day I was very happy, but also worried about the three, tiring years that were expecting me.
